Embrace AI in Assessment

2023 has witnessed an unprecedented interest in AI in education. As an educator and an ID who is excited about new technology, I was motivated to further explore this topic. But when I look at the conversations around AI in education, I noticed that a large part of existing literature is geared towards how to prohibit the use of AI in education.

In this video, I want to discuss a different angle on AI and Assessment: How we can embrace AI use in assessment. How might we adopt AI in assessment and use its power to boost critical thinking or creativity? How might we foster stronger human and AI collaboration through assessment design without compromising the goal of assessment? What are specific strategies to do that?
