Graduate Fellow of Academic Success and Engagement

• Planned, managed and assessed campus-wide onboarding experiences and academic engagement experiences for over 1400 students at Teachers College

• Communicated with local vendors, campus services, and stakeholders to establish
  relationships around events, supply orders, budgets, and on-site management

• Executed marketing plan related to programming initiatives, student events, and resources available including flyers, social media graphics, and email announcements

• Advised academic and pre-professional student organizations by facilitating trainings, guiding the event planning process, recruitment,
  retention, leadership team transitions, and faculty advisor relationship-building

• Supported Associate Director with data gathering and data analysis to identify best practices to support graduate students at varying levels

Instructional Design Intern

• Collaborated with the Senior Associate Director of Instructional Design and Senior Instructional Designers to provide end-to-end course development support for 8 online courses, from syllabus design, syllabus review to Canvas site development. 

• Performed key functions in the learning management system (e.g. complete Canvas set-up tasks, review and adjust the accessibility of the site) 

• Conducted Quality Assurance checking for Canvas sites to ensure a seamless online learning experience for students  

• Reviewed learning objectives, learning contents, and technology uses to ensure compliance with Quality Matters standards

• Researched and identified appropriate uses of technology to facilitate active learning and enhance in the online environment (e.g., research a collaborative Python coding platform for the Credit Risk Analytics course)

Academic Manager

• Analyzed learning needs, developed curricula and monitored the implementation of technology-based learning programs using Canvas LMS and other educational technologies 

• Conduct organizational need analysis, designed, implemented, and managed language training programs for EdSpace's partners, including Shopee- the largest e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia.

• Strengthened organizational efficiency by facilitating Continuing Professional Development workshops to keep teachers updated on the latest education trends, research, and learning technologies needed for their work 

• Established and managed learning content for EdSpace's social platforms on Youtube, which has 12,400 subscribers and resulted in increased course registration

Visiting Fellow

• Targeted diverse learning modalities and technology integration in designing learning programs 

• Delivered impactful training to undergraduate and postgraduate students on Academic English skills, Workplace English, and Intercultural Communication with a strong evaluation score of 3.7/4.0 

• Teamed with the administrators to evaluate and revise teaching tools and learning materials in order to continually improve the learning experience. Contributed to Professional Development activities hosted by Hong Kong Continuing Professional Development Hub for university lecturers with a study on “Postgraduate students' attitude towards mobile assisted language learning for learning English pronunciation”
